One year ago today on Saint Paddy's Day, Kerry and Luke tied the knot in Central Park's Ladies Pavilion, starting their married adventure alongside a sea of pub-crawling, shamrock-wearing, parade-going New Yorkers.
How cool is that?! Having an intimate elopement in one of the most iconic places in NYC and then having a bunch of strangers celebrating you with free drinks and loud cheers!
BEST DAY EVER!!!
As most couples do nowadays, Luke and Kerry swiped right and were a match! From the moment they met beneath the Statue of Queen Victoria to go out on their first coffee date, they felt at ease. Kind of like they were catching up with an old friend. After two years of picnics, outdoor adventures, and walks with their pup, Jake, they decided to cement all they've been through and all they hope to go through together as an awesome married duo!
So, they had a sweet and simple elopement ceremony at Central Park's Ladies Pavilion with the frozen lake as their backdrop. They chose to have a hand fasting tradition that included their family tartans and celebrated their journey alongside a couple of friends who flew in from the UK.
Needless to say, it was an unforgettable St. Paddy's Day! We may not have found a pot full of gold, but there was certainly a generous amount of luck and magic on Luke and Kerry's wedding day!
Oh and if you're wondering - YES, I am a shorty standing at 5'3" so it's not hard to hover over me. But I don't mind craning my neck when you're as undeniably in-love as these two.
Happy One Year Anniversary, Kerry and Luke! Wishing you countless outdoor adventures, pub crawls, and nights cuddling on the couch with a great flick.
